Welcome to La Cale de la Clauderie, ideally located on the rise of the Loire à Vélo route, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park Loire-Anjou-Touraine. This former 18th century tufa stone tavern, completely renovated and equipped with all modern comforts as well as a heated swimming pool, promises you a relaxing and memorable stay, ideal for a romantic getaway or a gourmet weekend in the Loire Valley, close to the Château d'Ussé.

We imagined La Cale de la Clauderie as a house where we receive travelers like friends, with the comfort of a hotel and the friendliness of a bed and breakfast.

Assured Comfort and Relaxation

Enjoy our heated pool, open seasonally from May to September, nestled in the heart of a vast garden. Our five bedrooms, each with its private bathroom, are located in the main house. Ideal for stays with friends or family, they offer beds made on arrival. Don't forget to bring your swimsuits and pool towels to fully enjoy our enchanting setting.

After a day of sightseeing, simply sit at our table and enjoy a friendly dinner made with seasonal products.

Privatization and Capacity

You have the possibility to privatize the whole house, offering a capacity of up to 10 people, for events or reunions in complete privacy.

A few minutes from La Cale de la Clauderie, let yourself be seduced by the Château de Rigny-Ussé, famous for its connection with the Sleeping Beauty. Also explore the historic castles such as Langeais, Azay-le-Rideau, Chinon, Villandry, l'Islette, all within 20 minutes.

Lovers of seafaring traditions will appreciate the picturesque port of Bréhémont and its traditional boats, while gourmets can visit the museum of tapée pear in Rivarennes, with a tasting on site. The renowned vineyards of Chinon, Saumur and Bourgueil will satisfy the palates of lovers of great wines.

Don't miss the Maurice Dufresne museum in Azay-le-Rideau, which houses an impressive collection of vintage vehicles.

Useful Information

Every morning, between 08:30 and 09:30, we invite you to enjoy a continental breakfast, prepared with care and composed of homemade products and daily delicacies.

On the menu: fresh bread and pastries, yogurt and homemade jams, muesli, honey, as well as a different homemade cake every morning. To accompany this moment, you will have the choice between three fruit juices, as well as a coffee, a tea or a hot chocolate according to your desires.

For any special request regarding the composition of breakfast, especially if you want savory options (eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, etc.), it is mandatory to inform us in advance.
An additional fee of €5 per person will then be applied.

We are pleased to offer you our table d'hôtes every evening, from Tuesday to Saturday, by reservation. We invite you to book 48 hours in advance.

Our table d'hôtes showcases local and French products, carefully selected for their quality and authenticity. Come and enjoy dishes in a warm and friendly atmosphere, and discover the gastronomic riches of our region.
